Flooring Sales Specialist
Builders Surplus of Newport Kentucky has immediate opening for SALES ASSOCIATE in our FLOORING DEPARTMENT. This position will be responsible for selling porcelain/ceramic tile, hardwood flooring, laminate flooring, and LVT flooring. This position is part of our design team.
Working Saturdays is a requirement, but our family friendly hours and single shift offer a great balance for work and home.
Hours are as follows:
Monday-Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM
Saturdays 9:00AM-5:00PM
Sundays 10:00AM-5:00PM

Builders Surplus is a customer service focused building material retailer with 4 key categories, Millwork (Doors, windows, and Trim) Flooring (hardwoods, tile and laminates), Kitchen & Bath (countertops, vanities, plumbing) We are a privately owned company with multiple store locations and the plan to expand. We need leaders not followers. Lots of advancement opportunities for ambitious loyal individuals, with a balance between work and home.
We pay a competitive hourly plus commission.
The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy working in a retail environment, have experience in sales, exceptional customer service skills, the ability to be part of a high performance team and be goal driven.
