Quality Assurance Technician Job
Summary:
Perform line verifications for box assembly and kitting.
Monitor frozen dairy and proteins to make sure CCP and CP thresholds are not exceeded, and record temperatures as required.
Provide directions on acceptable and unacceptable defects.
Collect and compile information and data needed for required QA reporting using QA apps and other resources.
Perform an inspection of value-added products according to the specifications provided by the customer to determine yields, ensure products meet all FSQA standards, and orders arrive to customer as expected.
Essential Job Functions and Key
Responsibilities:
Perform line verifications for box assembly and kitting at shift start-up and line changeovers.
Collect information and compile data for QA reports that meet specifications provided by the customers using the QA App, tablets, and other resources.
This includes photos, recording product temperatures, recording defects, weights, and downloading information from the tablet to the QA Google Drive.
Perform quality checks on products throughout the production week to determine yields.
Perform other quality control and auditing functions as needed.
Answer questions and provide direction on acceptable and unacceptable defects.
Work in partnership with the VAS leadership team to monitor for GMP and process compliance, and to ensure issues are addressed.
Deliverables Quality Assurance Technicians are expected to monitor and inspect multiple production lines at a rate that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Quality Assurance Technician duties need to be conducted in a timely manner that supports operational efficiency.

Must be comfortable navigating a webpage and using various webtools.
Qualifications:
Previous QC inspection and auditing experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills Good math and analytical skills required Basic computer skills are required.
Must be able to work in a cold environment.
Able to work a flexible schedule of 4 - 10 hour (or finish) shifts per week plus additional hours based on business needs, holidays, vacation coverage, etc.
